The question comes : "How much alcohol should one drink in one session?"
Good Question.

The answer is complicated and the answer is to be decided by each individual. We can discuss the various factors here :

First the Technical One. - If you read the labels on each liquor bottle it clearly gives the % of alcohol content. Or it could give a "proof" figure which is double the % figure, i.e. 100% would be 200 proof. Generally Whiskeys are 40-45%, beers 4-6%, Breezers are also 3-6%, Bailey's and Cointreau about 27% etc. etc. Read on the bottle.

So if you are drinking 60mL of Whiskey (a large), the pure alcohol content would be about 24-27 mL and if you are drinking a 650ml bottle of beer, the pure alcohol content would be 32-39 mL for a 5-6% variety. Thus you see that a big bottle of Beer is more potent than a large peg of Whiskey. About 50 mL of pure alcohol will help one to reach a "Happy" stage for an average person weighing 70-80 Kgs. This is the desireable state.

Taking it further : Yes the weight of the person plays a large part. The tolerance capacity of a 50 Kg. person is less than a 80 Kg person. Therefore petite girls should restrict themselves to about 25-30mL of pure alcohol. Do the math accordingly.

Another factor which plays a part is "your state of mind". If you are tensionless and carefree, smaller amount of alcohol will "hit" you. If in tension, you can consume a bit more.

There is talk going around that alcohol will hit harder if you have it along with "mithai". I have no experience to corroborate or refute this even after trying. So guys you can share your experiences here.
